Meihua Huang Gort, artist name: Meihua (former artist name Prashna).
Born in, Taiwan R.O.C. (Republic of China), also known as “Formosa” in the past. Now she lives in Luzern, Switzerland with her family.
She attended the famous Fu-Hsin Trade and Arts School in Taiwan where she graduated in 1984, majoring in ART. She has exhibited twice in Chicago USA and several times in Taiwan and India. Collectors of her art are worldwide.
Between 1994 and 2011, Meihua participated and facilitated in many creativity/painting workshops in, India and Europe. In Denmark and Sweden in 2000 she co-presented painting/creativity workshops. She has also successfully lead painting and dancing workshops in Taiwan.
She is passionate about people, cultures and has travelled extensively in Europe and Asia. While she was travleing she took time to visit museums and to paint.Her unique way of painting is rooted in Asia and enriched by the West.
